Raquel Caldwell is a rising singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer captivating hearts with her charming melodies, soul-stirring lyrics, and enchanting production. Hailing from St. Louis, Missouri, her passion for music began early, nurtured by her family's musical prowess and encouragement. As Raquel grew older, her passion for music intensified. She delved into pop, jazz, country, blues, and R&B records, finding inspiration in the iconic styles of legends like Corinne Bailey Rae, Sade, Nancy Wilson, Aretha Franklin, Miranda Lambert, Sarah Vaughan, Oscar Peterson, Joni Mitchell, Mary J. Blige, Phoebe Snow, Janis Ian, Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Alison Krauss, Bonnie Raitt, and Tommy Sims. These influences would later shape her unique style and sound and help her develop a deep reverence for various genres.
Now, she weaves raw emotion into thought-provoking compositions that explore love, creativity, and self-discovery. As she releases her debut album Maturity, her EP Dancing in the Street, and finalizes her upcoming albums Good Girls, Seasons, Tiny Victories, Storage, and Ancestry, Raquel remains dedicated to her craft, seeking to create music that uplifts, heals, and unites people from all corners of the world.
